• Alternative server
• Play online with the History Edition

• Missing graphics options/black textures/editor fix

• Install mappacks
• Patch the game to version 1.06
• Host a game
• User Maps
• Settler won't start after patch 1.06 or the Windows 10 Creators Update

Maybe you recognize one of them:

• Other players are shown red.
• Netwerk Session (Client) could not be initialized!
• The ubi.com servers are out of service?

If you never played online before, follow the steps below in the correct order.

1. Patch the game to version 1.06
2. Settler won't start after patch 1.06 or the Windows 10 Creators Update
3. Install the alternative MP server
4. install the map pack

If you have successfully completed all the steps, you should be able to play online.
