The Settlers offer the possibility to create own maps for the two addons Nebelreich and Legenden . The maps are files with the extension . S5x and must be in the correct folder to be displayed in the game.

Search for the installation directory of settlers. For a standard installation, the path could be e.g. as follows:

 C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Bluebyte\THE SETTLERS - HERITAGE OF KINGS - Gold Edition 

There you will find the folders extra1 and extra2.

have to go under

 extra1\shr\maps\user 

have to go under

 extra2\shr\maps\user 

If Settler has been running in the background, Settler must be restarted to see the cards in the list of Free Games.
